I am back for the summer mostly for politics. I'm considering looking into politics as a career since everything else would most likely be boring.

Trial One Part Two
Anton mentally prepared his plan
He analyzed the metallic foe
And after finding a weak point he began
He would have to strike low
He charged the beast grazing its leg with a quick slash
It did nothing to it and it launched its own attack
And Anton's arm opened up with a gash
He saw it then the beast's armor had a crack
He channeled a bright lightning onto his sword
And attempted a lunge into the small crack
He flew into the air the pain in his arm ignored
And stuck the beast down its vision went black
The beast was not done however its metallic shell refusing to quit
Anton might have frozen the beast but not the shell
It moved the flesh behind the wounded hero who was trying to sit
But the inner beast held the metal back saving Anton from hell
Anton knew what he had to do
He aimed for the center of the armor's symbol
And lunged with his remaining power and hoped his aim was true
And moved out of the beasts range trying with his arm to be nimble
The inner beast was forever free
Of whatever enslaved it in the first place
The beast was his ally now to a degree
It would help him in this trial to save the human race
Yet in this trial there's more....
Trial One Part Three
Anton sheathed his sword and approached the beast
And started to charm it with his mind
Yet when he saw into the beast's psyche he viewed the deceased
He learned there were no more of the beast's kind
After an hour the beast named Soror was tamed
And the newly formed team rode swiftly up the cliff
To finish this test by midnight he aimed
Yet from the fight before his arm was sore and stiff
He decided to rest on a ledge halfway there
Channeling his strength and borrowing some
He used too much strength and passed out, unaware
He woke up five hours later when midnight was to come
He was fully healed and completely able to move
Although with six minutes left to go things were not well
That the best of man can do this in 6 hours he must prove
Otherwise even if he finished the souls of many would fell
He pushed Soror as far as he could possibly go
He ran up the cliff as if there were no gravity, no air
Anton jumped high from the beasts back to the high plateau
And made it to the finish with twenty six seconds to spare
And so the first trial was complete
ok tell me what you think as always

Prologue
One man standing on the edge of a broken town
Knowing what will happen this day tomorrow
The earth will turn barren and lifeless and brown
Heavenly power he could only borrow
He knew the word which could save him
And would say them risking eternal hell for all
As for the test his chances were slim
But to turn back events he would answer the call
You see the overlord of mankind was sickened with us
There was no art, no love, and no joy on the Earth
The viewers in heaven were making a fuss
So now Aquin must represent us this prophet and warrior chosen at birth
Through ten trials of logic, strength and art
The poor man must last
Only three watchers can help him and play a part
One of present, one of future, and one of past
Aquin waited that night for the world to end
The black rain came and started killing and flattening the land
He waited and watched since any wounds he would receive would mend
In due time the world around him turned to dark brown sand
Trial One Poem One
The man named Anton went to the first test
Shown below the lone star in the sky
So the man who was somewhat blest
Heard an angel small and spry
She was the messenger of the overlord
She announced to him the rules of the first trial
He could use no divine aid only his rapier, his holy sword
And his own power to which he responded with a smile
He had to make it to the other side of the cliff
Yet if he did not defeat the beast below
His limbs would forever be cold and stiff
He jumped down to fight the beast from the plateau
He drew his flaming rapier from his belt
Looking for a target to strike
It seemed he could not find where the monster dwelt
At that moment he was nearly hit by a spike
He looked up at the abomination
Examined its partly metal body and eyes and teeth
It was truly in desperation
It was a gentle creature underneath
And so the trial begins...
well leave a comment telling me what ya think.

This is where you can find part one of the story poem I've been working on lately.(no title yet) I hope i am finished within the next week.
I've joined the writers club as well in other news.
Well, its been one week since joining newgrounds and I am overwhelmed by the community here (except the general forum its just inappropiate jokes). I've decided to become active in the politics section of the forum as thats where i think most of the best conversation is. I started a teenager's rights forum topic as well as two others this week, and i would like to thank the people who offered a logical argument and support in those topics. Other than that, just trying to gain respect. Thats it for this week.
